MT COTTON HILLCLIMB SERIES, Rd 6, 24-25 November, 2018
 

Round 6 was a highly successful event untroubled by rain or excessive heat. There were good conditions for two new records to be set - one by Geoff Cohen who continues to take chunks out of his Group Q - Sports class record.

The other record to be broken was Brian Pettit's in the Clubman sports cars up to 2000cc class and Brian was there to witness New South Welshman Ray Bromley who had travelled quite a distance to take part in the event reduce the record time to 43.54s. Not happy with that success, Ray, having won the raffle, also went home with the Ian Colley photo collage. FTD went to Dean Tighe with 37.54 while Dean Amos had his success by topping the Top Six times with a 37.67. Also good to see Jim Milliner, already a member of the Under 40s Club once again posting a sub-40s time.
