Unpredictable weather on Sunday meant that times set in excellent
conditions on Saturday were rarely bettered so Fastest Time of Day
was set by Simon Lake in the Suzuki Escargot on his second run on
Saturday. Unfortunately it was more than the weather that put a stop
to any better times for the Lakes as the engine in the Suzuki
Escargot let go on leaving the start line on the first run on Sunday.
The weather also meant that the pace of record breaking in the series
slowed but, even so, Daryl Duncan (Fiat X19 Dallara) and Ross Rundle
(Elfin Malmark) bettered their class records on the Saturday while
Steve Purdy was the only record breaker on Sunday, once again
reducing the Group S record to 50.10.

From an interesting mix of cars in the Top Six, Michael Ciccotelli,
now in his Jedi Mk1/4, was fastest in 43.56 while most improved went
to Karl Begg in his BMW E30 325i.
