HILLCLIMB RESULTS - 24 May, 2009

MT COTTON HILLCLIMB SERIES, ROUND 1, Sunday, 24 May, 2009
The first round of the MGCCQ Mt Cotton Hillclimb series incorporating the Interclub Challenge hillclimb was held at Mt Cotton on May 24. Despite the less than favourable weather, the majority of the competitors still turned up enthusiastically and were rewarded with six runs for the day despite a delay at the start of the day due to a timing malfunction. The weather did not allow for any attempts at records so seasoned competitors used the day as a test session while newcomers used it as a learning experience.

Many thanks to Kristan Hayes for making the following action photos available to us. He took a total of more than 700 photos and invites competitors to contact him to find out what photos he may have of them. He may be contacted by email at kwhayes@bigpond.net.au or by phone on 0404 283 184.

Thanks also to Jen Reynolds whose photos can be viewed here. Drivers are welcome to request more photos of their car to be uploaded to Jen's website or to buy a CD of their photos by emailing gremli9@hotmail.com.

Photos at the bottom of the page were mostly taken from the dry comfort of the timing shed by Elaine Hamilton.
