FNQ
Chapter Runs:
As we get further into the year, there will also be the
following runs which will be weather dependant. I will endeavour
to give you as much notice as possible in this regard:
- Mareeba
Drive-In
- Evening
run for dessert as we did last year to Palm Cove
- A run to
Cardwell to meet up with like minded enthusiasts from
Townsville.
- Combined
Car Clubs of Cairns run
Mid Week
Runs:

Thanks to the efforts of Justin Nicholls and Julie Carney, an incredible 26
cars arrived at the Cairns Pier Carpark on Sunday, November 2nd to formalise
what is now known as the FNQ Chapter of the MG Car Club of Queensland.
Not
surprisingly, Justin Nicholls was appointed Chapter Co-ordinator before the
assembled MG's and a few other makes headed for Trinity Wharf to wait (in
vain) for the photographer from the "Cairns Post" to arrive.

All was not
lost, however, as the aforesaid photographer followed the group down to Babinda for lunch.
His job done, the very first FNQ Chapter Day Run
participants ventured homewards.
The day finished with Julie, Justin, John Davies, Kev Ponting, Ken and Anne Freeburn, John Davies and David Miles enjoying a celebratory dinner.
