PRESIDENTS LETTER:
Dear Competitor,
Welcome to 2012 and the new year of competition.
Attached are the Supplementary Regulations for our Come and Try and Practice day on the 5th February 2012
and also the Tighe Cams Series Supplementary Regulations for 18-19 February 2012.
The Club would again remind you of the requirement by State law of Qld Road Registered Vehicles of the need
for a 3rd Party extension on your registration’s insurance company.
Come and Try is by registration and paperwork completed and received by Thursday, 2nd February.
Test and Tune will commence from 10.00am with a safety check after paperwork administration and then follow
at 11.45am with a drivers briefing. Entry is also available on the day of the event.
Club members and hillclimb competitors. If you have an interest in helping, interested in assisting with the many
tasks which have to be done at a hillclimb or even a curiosity as to how these things are done, this is the day to
come along and find out!
To be entered in the Tighe Cams Series you must also complete the Series Registration paperwork in full. Series
Registration is $120.00 and this entitles you to $10.00 discount for each Series Round that you enter. (Nett
registration fee of $60.00) To be eligible for Tighe Cams Trophies, the rules
for 2012 clearly state that “Each competitor must have contributed to
the outcome of an event by either attending two working bees, or twice
in some other form either before, during or after the event.”
You may however decide to not Series register and your entry will be
accepted with the limitation of numbers for the event.
